Introducing Greendoor: the New Social Media Platform the Cannabis World Needs

Denver, CO – Denver start-up Greendoor, a new social networking Cannabis culture app, was inundated by visitors on its launch during ‘4/20’ week. But even with over 20,000 visitors in April alone, Director of Community Yousef Ezz was not too surprised:

“Cannabis is being decriminalized and legalized all over the world. It has a lot of uses and benefits, which is why we got such a positive response,” says Ezz. “We’re excited to reveal Greendoor to the Cannabis community at this great time. Our app is a reflection of the community’s needs and we will continue to adapt as we grow!”

Described as the ‘one-stop shop / front page’ of Cannabis Culture, the app is available on the App Store and on Google Play.  Greendoor offers a variety of content, including engaging educational content, a job board powered by Vangsters (Talent Agency for the Cannabis Industry), a dispensary locator powered by Snoop Dogg’s Merry Jane, and more.

The app allows users to locate information about medical uses of Cannabis, products, celebrity news and legalization. With the ability to post their own content and meet other users, people can also earn rewards for participating in the community, answering trivia and entering contests.

Public awareness about the benefits of marijuana has heightened during the recent 4/20 events. April 20th has become an international symbol and a global movement for the liberation and legalization of cannabis. This year’s ‘Weed Day’ events were more popular and better attended than ever before.

About Greendoor:

Launched in April 2018, the Greendoor app is a social network focused around the Cannabis culture. Its features allow users to discover new content on the topic of Cannabis, be notified about events in their area, post their own content and get to know other users.

Budtenders have the option of building a following on the platform and becoming “influencers,” similar to Instagram. Their Greendoor profiles can also be linked to their profile on Vangsters, making it almost a LinkedIn-like platform. 

The app is only available in the U.S. and Canada.
